What is a Den Meeting?

A den meeting is a smaller meeting where scouts have individual activities appropriate for their level. Scouts will learn about nutrition, physical fitness, first aid, and patriotism to name a few areas. Scouts will also have a snack and game. Den meetings typically last an hour to an hour and a half. Den meetings are typically held twice a month.

What is a Pack Meeting?

A pack meeting is a larger meeting which all dens attend. Scouts show off what they've done at their den meetings. Pack meetings typically last one hour, and are held once a month. Each month, a different den will lead the game, and bring a snack. They may also do a skit or sing a song for the rest of the pack. Our pack meetings are held at 6pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the basement.

What other activities do the scouts do?

Pack 50 has a pinewood derby race, snow tubing trip, winter camp, summer camp, summer activity and parade floats. Pack 50 conducts the flag ceremonies for Stanley-Boyd home football games. Pack 50 also does community service projects like the scouting for food.

What is the difference between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts?
